The Iowa City Museum of National History uses amazing displays and exhibits to showcase the incredible ecological, geological, and cultural history of the region. The main exhibit at the museum is the Iowa Hall, a 500-million year journey through Iowa's past, that features a 380-million-year coral reef, as well as an Ice Age Sloth and a display about prehistoric coal swamps. The museum is located on the University of Iowa campus, just east of Hubbard Park.
